Choose it for

Figurines, models and display pieces where the surface has to look clean
Sharp text, logos and fine relief
One off parts you need quickly and cheaply
Anything that lives indoors, on a shelf or a desk

Choose something else for

A car, a window sill or anywhere in direct sun: it goes soft and droops
Parts that carry a load for a long time, they creep
Anything near a heater, an engine or hot water
Outdoor use of any kind, UV makes it brittle

Starts to soften: around 55 C
We print it at: 200-220 C

How it behaves on the printer

The easiest of the four. It barely warps, holds fine detail and needs no enclosure, which is why a PLA part is usually the cheapest of the same shape. Overhangs need support like any material, and thin unsupported walls stay fragile until the part is fully cool.
