How pricing works
Upload a model and the price appears in seconds, with VAT and delivery included, and you pay by card. Drawings, and models the calculator will not price, still go to an engineer. This page explains what that figure is made of.

Where the number comes from
Pricing on 3DPartGo is automatic. The site measures your file the moment it lands: outer size, volume, number of separate bodies, triangle count, whether the surface is closed, and it builds the price from those measurements, your material and your quantity.
Some models still cannot be priced this way: larger than the 325 x 320 x 325 mm build plate, more than 3 000 000 triangles, more than 25 separate bodies, walls too thin for the volume, or a line above 500 EUR before VAT. Those go to a quote request and an engineer answers by email.
The upside for you: the figure you get is not a template guess. It reflects your geometry, your material and your quantity, and it comes with no obligation to order.
What moves the price
Every quote is built from the same four ingredients. Knowing them helps you design a cheaper part and read your quote line by line.
Material, and how much of it
PLA, PETG, ASA or TPU, and the grams your part actually consumes, including the support material we print and later remove. A hollow or thinner walled part uses less than a solid one.
Machine time
Driven by size and layer height: a bigger part runs longer, and finer layers mean more of them. In most parts the hours matter more than the grams.
Quantity
Preparation, slicing and checking happen once per design, so ten identical parts do not cost ten times the first one. Change the quantity in the configurator and the price recalculates at once.
Finishing and packing
Support removal, cleaning, assembly of multi part prints and a box that survives the courier. Simple parts need very little of this, delicate ones need more.

Upload your STL, 3MF, OBJ or GLB and the tool measures it in seconds, or send a drawing or photos with a quote request.

Choose material, quality, colour, quantity and delivery country, and the price appears on the same screen, with VAT and delivery included.

3. You get a real figure
Quantity discounts start at 5 pieces, and the minimum order of 15 EUR before VAT and delivery is shown as its own line.

4. You decide
Order, ask for changes or walk away. The quote is free and nothing is printed before you confirm.
VAT: private customers and companies
How the tax line on your quote looks depends on who is ordering.
Private customers
Prices for consumers are shown with Latvian VAT included. The amount on the quote is the final amount, with no tax surprise at payment.
EU companies
Businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT number are invoiced at 0% VAT under the reverse charge rules. Add your VAT number to the request and we verify it.

The same process, two very different parts
A worked example without the numbers: why a palm sized bracket and a wearable helmet land in different price territory.
A small shelf bracket
A few grams of PETG, and coarser layers are fine because stiffness matters more than a silky surface. It prints in a corner of the build plate in little machine time.
Support removal takes moments and it ships in a small padded box. Ordering several at once spreads the one time preparation across all of them.
A full size helmet
Many times the volume, so far more material, and fine layers so the curves come out smooth. The printer runs for many hours, sometimes across several days.
It may print in sections that are then bonded and finished, and it travels in a big box with real padding. Material, hours and finishing all scale up together.
Both go through the same calculator: it measures the actual model and prices the actual work, not a category average.
Pricing questions
Do I see the price on the screen?
Yes. Upload STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP or GLB, choose material, quality, colour, quantity and delivery country, and the price appears with VAT and delivery included, ready to pay by card.
What should I send with a quote request?
The drawing, or the model file in STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP or GLB, the material you have in mind (PLA, PETG, ASA or TPU), the quantity and the size you need. If anything is missing we simply ask, it just adds a round of email.
Does requesting a quote commit me to anything?
No. The quote is free, you can ask for changes or decline it, and nothing is printed before you confirm.
Is VAT included in the quoted price?
For consumers, yes: quotes include Latvian VAT. Companies from another EU country with a valid VAT number are invoiced at 0% VAT; include the number in your request.
How long does a quote request take?
The automatic price appears on the screen at once. For a drawing, or a model the calculator will not price, we work Monday to Friday, Riga time, and normally reply the next working day.
